In Cuba , we say gao to designate home and here our goal is to create, with the help of professionals in modern, classical, folkloric and contemporary Cuban dance, a community in harmony where you feel AT HOME.
A family environment where we all learn a little more to become aware of our physical movement in space whatever the conditions of each person, where we learn to know our body in detail to get the most out of it in this journey for life.
El Gao was born from the need to develop movement as a psychomotor procedure of liberation, spontaneity, balance and acceptance. It explores going beyond the traditional boundaries of the dance discipline to bring movement itself toward a new paradigm and expressive use of the body as a vessel for an evolving process of self-improvement.
